The French and their language. Ok, so we know it's on the way out, what why bother with new tech words like email? Considering that 1/3 of English comes from the French, anyway, (thank you very much, William the Conqueror), it just doesn't make sense that they're making such a big deal about this. If anyone would know when to surrender, it's the French.

Besides, what about the French words we use all the time that we can't do without? What about menois a trois, répondez, s'il vous plaît, and fillet? You don't hear anyone speaking in English crying about those.

The days are numbered at the hospital of my birth. Like most socialized medicine, they ask the people to come to the rescues of the hospital, but yet it was the people that have been keeping it afloat for the last 30 years, through compulsory taxes.

Is it sad that it's going to close? Yes, but it's not sad that the hospital administrators are going to stop milking the taxpayers of the County out of their money so they can make 50-80k a year, in a town where 50K will buy you all the house you'll ever need.

God Bless the ACLU [pun intended]. I'm so glad that in these trying times, they focus on the real issues that are trying men's souls. You know that the world is a better place now that the ACLU lawyers cashed a check and got those plaques removed from the Grand Canyon.

Do you think they find offense at "In God We Trust" being on all our their/our currency? I'm sure that's next.

I don't know who Jim Rome or Terry Schaub is but this is hilariously perfect. What's funny about it is that he's not even a Texan and he knows that there's something wrong with the Aggie mentality.
