Voyeurism taken to a disgusting level when a medical professional wants to see people in the bathroom.
A Houston dentist will spend four years on probation and pay a $2,000 fine for putting videocameras in the bathroom of his southeast Houston office in a deal brokered Wednesday in court.

Two female employees reported they found tapes from the cameras in the office in August.
I don't know what women do in a dentist's office bathroom, but I don't think it's quite girls gone wild. That's just gross.

This prompted the crazy dentist tag. It happens more often than you'd think.

Mark Anderson, my new hero.
A dentist accused of fondling the breasts of 27 female patients is trying to keep his dental license by arguing that chest massages are an appropriate procedure in certain cases. Mark Anderson's lawyer says dental journals discuss the need to massage the pectoral muscles to treat a common jaw problem.

Police say Anderson said during recorded phone calls that he routinely massaged patients' chests to treat temporo-mandibular joint disorder, or TMJ, which causes neck and head pain.
I'm not sure about the science of any of this, but gotta give it to him for coming up with the most creative bullshit for coping a feel. I wonder if he did the same for his male patients with TMJ problems. Then there's this:
Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Phillips gave Lew three new complaints, including one from a 31-year-old woman who said Anderson fondled her at least six times over two years.

She took to wearing tight shirts with high necklines, "and Anderson would still get in under her shirt and bra," according to a police report.
Six times over two years? Why in the world would she keep going back? I wonder if it works.

So you go to the dentist. While you're under, your dentist implant boar tusks in your mouth and takes pictures. You sue, yet he gets a half million bucks.
Dr. Robert Woo of Auburn had put the phony tusks in while the woman was under anesthesia for a different procedure. He took them out before she awoke, but first he shot photos that eventually made it around the office.

The employee, Tina Alberts, felt so humiliated when she saw the pictures that she quit and sued her boss.

Woo's insurance company, Fireman's Fund, refused to cover the claim, saying the practical joke was intentional and not a normal business activity his insurance policy covered, so Woo settled out of court. He agreed to pay Alberts $250,000, then sued his insurers.

A King County Superior Court jury sided with Woo, ordering Fireman's Fund to pay him $750,000, plus the out-of-court settlement. The insurance company won the next round, with the state Court of Appeals saying the prank had nothing to do with Woo's practice of dentistry. On Thursday, the state Supreme Court restored Woo's award.

In a sprightly 5-4 decision, Supreme Court Justice Mary Fairhurst wrote that Woo's practical joke was an integral, if odd, part of the assistant's dental surgery and "conceivably" should trigger the professional liability coverage of his policy.
What?!?
The backstory, the court wrote, is that Alberts' family raises potbellied pigs and that she frequently talked about them at the office where she worked for five years.

The oral surgery on Alberts was intended to replace two of her teeth with implants, which Woo did. First, though, he installed temporary bridges that he had shaped to look like boar tusks, and while Alberts was still under anesthesia, he took photos, some with her eyes propped open. Before she woke up, he removed the "tusks" and put in the proper replacement teeth.

Woo says he didn't personally show her the pictures but staffers gave her copies at a birthday party.
What a douchebag. And he walked with $500,000.

I never get tired of Clara Harris. What's up this week?
Clara Harris, the Friendswood dentist sentenced to prison for murdering her husband by running over him with her Mercedes, blames defense attorney George Parnham for her conviction.

Harris, 47, told the Houston Chronicle in an exclusive interview last week from the Mountain View prison unit outside of Gatesville in central Texas that Parnham, whom she has accused in a lawsuit of overcharging her, did not prepare adequately.
If I learned nothing from The Shawshank Redemption, it's that there are no guilty men in prison. In this case, no guilty women.

So she's not guilty because her attorney didn't prepare adequately? Ok, maybe, but what about that part about driving over her husband with her car? Twice? In front of witnesses? On video? With his daughter riding shotgun?

You're guilty, darlin'.

"Ma'am, how often do you floss? No, really. . . . The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in Pasadena:
A Pasadena dentist who offered to reduce a female patient's bill in exchange for a sexual favor was charged with solicitation of prostitution, according to Pasadena police.

Det. J.E. Bell said a patient in her early 20s went to the office of Anthony ****** at 2911 Strawberry on Aug. 6 for some cosmetic dental work. While the woman was in the dentist's chair, ****** allegedly offered to reduce her dental bill by $50 if she performed a sexual act on him. The patient did not respond to ******'s suggestion, Bell said.

When the woman was paying her bill, ****** again offered to reduce her bill in exchange for a sexual favor. The offer was witnessed by a third person.
Prostitution? I don't know about that. Creepy, yes, but he didn't anymore solicit prostitution than any guy does when they spends big bucks on a date with an expectation of something more later on.

I say give the guy a break, he's up to his elbows in people's stinkin' mouths scraping teeth all day.

Ed Note:Had to obfuscate the name of the dentist in this story. Got the back-story from an anonomous email, and it scared the shit out of me. The good Doctor's name was La Kind. Except backwards.
