Have you ever wanted to ride in a helicopter and not sure how you could pull that off? Just get a pit bull and wait for it to eat your wife's face off.
A woman was severely injured Thursday night when she was attacked by her pit bull.

Precinct 5 constables said the woman’s husband heard a commotion in another room, and when he went to investigate, he found his wife on the floor.

The family’s pit bull was on top of her.

The woman was taken via Life Flight to Memorial Hermann.
Beautiful, docile animals.

A three year old girl in Southeast Texas was rescued from a flooded car by her aunt's dog. That would be a nice story, but in reality, the aunt's dog was a pit bull, and it ate the baby's face off.
A 3-year-old girl who was attacked by a dog at her aunt's New Caney home remains hospitalized but her condition has been upgraded to stable, Montgomery County sheriff's officials said today.

Although she suffered severe damage to her face and head, sheriff's officials said the child's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
It's just a dog, right?

In yet another truly stirring example of the inseparable bond between man and canine, two pit bulls pulled a crippled widow out of a burning building today. Naw, I'm just shittin' ya, but they did eat another kid in East Texas:
A 10-year-old boy died Monday after authorities say he was mauled by two pit bulls in the small community of Leverett’s Chapel.

Gregg County Justice of the Peace B.H. Jameson pronounced Justin Clinton dead at a Longview hospital. Justin’s body was sent to Dallas for an autopsy.

The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office said witnesses reported seeing the dogs drag the boy, who had been playing at a friend’s house, down the side of the road. Tyler television station KLTV reported that a motorist who saw the attack pulled the animals off the boy.
Sad. They're "just dogs" like Bengal Tigers are "just cats."

Sure, he gnawed off my toes, but you just don't understand him like I do.
A paralyzed man in Lexington, Ky., was hospitalized after he noticed his pit bull partially bit off his toes while he was sleeping, officials said.

Terry Smith, who has been paralyzed below the waist for years, woke up Tuesday morning to discover his puppy had "chewed off four tips of his toes," the Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader reported Wednesday.
I sure hope they don't put that dog down. If that pit bull puppy gets put down for eating its owners toes, it'll never get a chance to grow up and eat the face off a baby.

What is it with pit bulls and miniature, therapeutic horses? Don't they know they're supposed to eat the faces off babies?
A miniature horse used for therapeutic healing was killed and four others were injured Thursday after an attack by two pit bull terriers.

The horses, who each weigh between 100 and 150 pounds, suffered bites to their legs, bodies and faces, said Kevin Overstreet, Animal Services director.

Oreo was killed. Honor was taken to a veterinary hospital in Wolfforth where the horse was in stable condition. Sparkles, Pepper Jack and Jolly were taken to a veterinary hospital in Littlefield for treatment.
This is just weird. Didn't this just happen? Why do people live with these creatures?

Who ever heard of a pit bull eating a kid? Oh yeah, it happens all the time. The question is why.
An 11-year-old boy has died after being bitten on the neck by his family's pit bull, police said.

The Killeen Police Department said the dog jumped from the couch at Seth Lovitt when the boy was running through his home with his little brother Tuesday evening. The dog knocked Seth to the ground and bit him.
If there was a story in the news once a week about my vehicle eating a kid, I'd get rid of it.

Getting tired of all those stories of pit-bulls eating the face off a baby? Try this one on for size. The pit bulls eat a kid's pony. Oh, it gets worse:
A pair of pit bulls killed a miniature horse given to a cancer-stricken Pampa boy by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Raul Vasquez believes he was just seconds from saving Anniversary, a 31-inch-tall gelding, but ended up scaling a tree when the dogs turned toward him.

One dog was caught moments after Monday's attack, but the other remained on the loose Tuesday and may be injured from a gunshot wound, Gray County Sheriff Don Copeland said.

Anniversary was purchased from a breeder in Kentucky for $1,800 by the Make-A-Wish Foundation and delivered to Vasquez's son, Christian, in August. Christian, who will be 4 on Nov. 11, was diagnosed in January with medulloblastoma, a malignant form of brain cancer that requires him to undergo chemotherapy sessions in Amarillo.
How freakin' terrible. At least they didn't interview these curs owners that tried to trot out same old pit bull defense that these animals are harmless.
Vasquez said Christian bonded with Anniversary, making it tougher to break the news to his 3-year-old son.

"He said, 'who killed my horse?' And I told him it was some mean dogs that did it," Vasquez said. "Then he asked me 'why?' And I told him 'they were really mean dogs.'"
How horrible. Really mean dogs indeed, and stupid, stupid people that claim they're "just dogs."

Looks like this worthless sack of crap is going to get charged with endangerment.
The mother of a 12-year-old boy fatally mauled by the family's pit bulls was charged Thursday with child endangerment.

Nicholas Faibish was killed June 3 by one or both of the family dogs when his mother went out to run errands.

Maureen Faibish, 39, found her son in a bedroom, covered in blood from several wounds, including a major head injury.

"His parent made the decision to leave (Nicholas) alone in a situation that endangered his life and ultimately led to his death," prosecutor Kamala Harris said in a statement.

Maureen Faibish told the San Francisco Chronicle she had been so concerned about one of the dogs that she shut her son in the basement to protect him. She said the male dog was acting possessively because the female was in heat.
Two things bother me about this story. What the hell is endangerment? Seems to me that the connotation of "endangerment" implies you put someone at risk without necessarily causing harm to that person. But if your actions lead to someone's death, endangerment doesn't seem to imply. You might be endangered if I point a gun in your face, but you're not endangered after I pull the trigger. You're freakin' dead.

Also, by locking her son in the basement to keep him away from these dogs shows that she was fully aware of the risk she was placing them in. She can't claim that she didn't know he was in danger, because she took steps to keep the dogs away from him. The fact that she locked her son in the basement so she could go shopping is another matter.

I hope she gets the Scott Peterson jury and not the OJ/Jack-o jury.

What a worthless sack of crap posing as an excuse for a mother.
The mother of a 12-year-old boy killed in his own home by one of the family's two pit bulls says she had been so concerned about one of the dogs that she shut her son in the basement to protect him.

Maureen Faibish said she ordered Nicholas to stay in the basement while she did errands on June 3, the day he was attacked by one or both of the dogs.

She said she was worried about the male dog, Rex, who was acting possessive because the female, Ella, was in heat.

"I put him down there, with a shovel on the door," Faibish said in an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle. "And I told him: 'Stay down there until I come back.' Typical Nicky, he wouldn't listen to me."
So, she left her son alone with two murderous curs, and because the kid escaped from the basement she locked him in, his stubbornness is what killed him? What a freakin' idiot. But I'm afraid it gets better.
"It's Nicky's time to go," she said in the interview. "When you're born you're destined to go and this was his time."
Was it also his time to get locked in the basement, you stupid cow?
